CERVICAL SCREENING CLINICS & CONTRACEPTION CONSULTS

Cervical Screening clinics for women aged 25 to 65 are available throughout the year. In general, you'll be invited for cervical screening every 3 years if you are aged 25 to 30 years old and every 5 years if you are 30 to 65 years old.

You do not need to wait for a letter to book an appointment if:

• you missed your last cervical screening test

• your next test is due

You also do not need to be on their register to have a free screening test. If your test is due, book a test with our cervical check registered Practice Nurse:

Contraception consults are free to patients aged 17 to 30 years old.

WHAT MAKES OUR CENTRE SPECIAL?

Seapoint Medical Centre is situated in Barna, located 15 minutes from Galway city centre. We have several amenities on offer that will make your visit an easy, effortless and efficient encounter. 

Since relocating our medical centre in 2012, Seapoint Medical Centre has a modern premises with ample parking, which is free.  Our practice is based on the ground floor, with wheelchair access, a large child friendly waiting area and baby changing facilities.

We accept credit and debit card payments.

We are open Monday to Friday from 8:30am - 6:00pm. For emergency appointments/on call services outside of these hours please contact WestDoc on 1850-365-000.

We are closed on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays
